The “$mart Money Management 321” board game is restaged at the Hong Kong Book Fair, with the booth themed “Money Management Carnival” this year.

Visitors tried the award-winning and popular board game “$mart Money Management 321” and participated in other engaging booth games with the opportunity to take home the “企業綠化大變身”, the town’s first board game focused on green financing, as well as a range of exquisite souvenirs.

In the aforementioned green financing board game, players assume the roles of different corporations and embark on a green transformation journey by raising funds in the financial market, thereby deepening their understanding of green financing. The game also conveys various messages on global warming, climate change, ESG, and greenwashing through the "Green Information Cards”.

Throughout the book fair, our booth was bustling with people, creating a lively atmosphere.

“$mart Money Management Experiential Centre”

The HKMA launches the “$mart Money Management Wonderland” Campaign to further promote the HKMA’s financial education Board Game “$mart Money Management 321”.  Through the designated showroom at PMQ in Central and online parenting workshops, the public can play to learn money management concepts at the festive moment.

1. Necessity & Desire – Learning the difference between “needs” and “wants”
2. Earning & Saving – Understanding source of income and the importance of saving
3. Zigzag Path with Benevolence – Helping those in needs via donation and volunteer work
4. Cybersecurity Dos & Don’ts – Building up cybersecurity awareness

Trial Sessions of the “$mart Money Management 321” Board Game at designated time slots

 “$mart Money Management 321 Parenting Workshops"

The HKMA is going to host two workshops in the morning of two Saturdays in Dec 2023 and Dec 2024.   Members of the public can participate in the “$mart Money Management Wonderland - Wall Game” (理財童樂園有獎遊戲) at the HKMA Facebook Page and answer one simple question.  Each selected participant can bring a kid aged 6 to 12 to join the workshop#.    A new round of the wall game will be rolled out after mid Jan 2024.   Game winners will be able to join the workshop to be held at the Auditorium of the HKMA on 3 Feb 2024 where they can try the board game and visit the HKMA Information Centre. #After attending the workshop, each family will get a set of the “$mart Money Management” board game and the “Money Management with Fun” card game.
