The HKMA Information Centre

The “Historical Timeline” will have a new look!

In order to provide our visitors with more enriched contents and a more engaging experience, the HKMA Information Centre is partially closed for renovation starting 18 March 2019 (Monday). During the renovation period, the “Historical Timeline” of the Exhibition Area is temporarily closed, while the “Currency Section”, the “Policy Section” and the Library remain open to the public.

The Historical Timeline is expected to reopen to the public with a fresh new look in the second half of 2019. We look forward to seeing you again. For enquiries, please call 2878-1111.

The HKMA Information Centre, consisting of an exhibition centre and a library, is an important resource for introducing the work of the HKMA to the community and promoting public awareness of monetary and banking matters.

The Centre is open to the public since 1 December 2003. Admission is free.

Guided tours are available on a daily basis. Group visits for schools, tertiary institutions, and non-profit organisations can also be arranged upon request.
