Kiddie-Family Moneyland Programme

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority collaborated with the Child Education Centre for Teaching and Learning of the Department of Childcare, Elderly and Community Services of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Sha Tin) to launch the Kiddie-Family Moneyland education programme as pre-school education. The objectives of the programme are to disseminate the “proper and responsible” money management value to the pre-school institutions and nurture the children with proper money management concept and attitude. The programme aims to establish a comprehensive money management concept among the children and the families, and set a solid foundation for the next generation of young people.

Phase Two of the Kiddie-Family Moneyland education programme commenced in the academic year 2019-20. The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) is invited to participate in the parents talk as a guest speaker by arranging Certified Public Accountants to give sharing on money management and family budgeting.
