Opening Hours

Monday to Friday	10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday	10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Closed on Sundays and public holidays (No entry 20 minutes before closing)

Admission is free of charge.

The number of general visitors permitted in the HKMA Information Centre at any time may be restricted to avoid congestion and ensure safety. Visitors may be asked to wait for a short time until others have left the Centre.

Special Arrangements under Inclement Weather Conditions

Warning Signal	Special Arrangement*
Tropical cyclone warning signal No.8 or above	The Centre will be closed when the tropical cyclone warning signal No.8 or above is hoisted, or is about to be hoisted. If the signal is lowered or cancelled before 3:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday or 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, the Centre will be re-opened within 2 hours. If the signal is not lowered or cancelled at or after 3:00 p.m. on Monday to Friday or 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, the Centre will remain closed for the day.
Black rainstorm warning	When a black rainstorm warning signal is issued during opening hours, the Centre will remain open until normal closing time. When the black rainstorm warning signal is issued before normal opening hours, the Centre will be closed while the warning is in force. If the signal is subsequently cancelled, the same service resumption arrangement for Tropical cyclone warning signal No.8 or above will be adopted.

*The HKMA reserves the right to close the Centre in case of emergency, in the interests of safety, or for any other reason.
