The Fintech Facilitation Office (FFO) regularly organises industry liaison events such as workshops and seminars for the fintech industry and interested parties to exchange information, ideas, and insight into fintech development.

Haccelerator Programme

The FFO launched the Haccelerator programme in March 2017 in collaboration with Cyberport, offering banks and stored value facilities operators a platform to run fintech-related competitions such as hackathons and accelerators to explore innovative solutions, identify talents, and seek co-operation opportunities with fintech start-ups and innovators.

Events

Representatives of the HKMA regularly attend fintech-related events as keynote speakers and panellists, as well as hold meetings with other regulators, the private sector, and industry organisations.

Hong Kong Fintech Week

Hong Kong Fintech Week is the city’s annual flagship fintech event packed with important announcements as well as presentations and panel sessions that cover all key aspects of fintech.
