Senior Appointments of the HKMC and HKMCA

The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (HKMC) announces today that, Mr Eddie Yue, current Executive Director of the HKMC, will be appointed as Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of the HKMC. The appointment will take effect from 1 October 2019, upon the retirement of Mr Norman Chan. Mr Howard Lee will be appointed as Executive Director of the HKMC. An up-to-date list of Board of Directors of the HKMC is attached at the Annex.

In addition, Mr Edmond Lau, current Chief Executive Officer of HKMC Annuity Limited (HKMCA), will be seconded to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to take up the post of Senior Executive Director, with effect from 1 October 2019. Mr Raymond Li, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the HKMC, will double down as the Chief Executive Officer of HKMCA for the time being pending the appointment of a suitable successor.
