Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of December 2013.  These cases include customer complaints about banking products or services as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In December 2013, 84 cases were received and 182 cases were completed.  As at end December, the handling of 500 cases is in progress.
