The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Digitalization Officer (Retail Payment Oversight)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Implement the operating system development and enhancement of the complaints and enquiries handling through in-house operating system, the HKMA’s website, e-complaint form, etc.
  • Take part in UAT arising from system development and enhancement, and responsible for preparing annual budget, monitoring system maintenance and handling other related tasks
  • Assist with the procurement and payment related tasks undertaken by senior manager
  • Support on-going system development and / or enhancement, and IT-related data governance, etc., through core technical platforms such as OutSystems, SharePoint, Tableau, etc.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of digital content
  • Update Operating Manual with guidelines of enhanced technical process and operational workflow
  • Liaise with internal and external parties (such as Information Technology Division / Digitalisation Office / service providers / other divisions), who are involved in the system development and enhancement

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree in information technology or related fields
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Good working knowledge of web technologies such as e-form, and preparing statistical analysis & reporting
  • Understanding of information management in a large scale organization
  • Understanding of usability and accessibility challenges for digital products, including responsive and adaptive design
  • Understanding of public sector and local government digital transformation practices
  • Good working knowledge of SharePoint, OutSystems, Tableau, etc.

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
