The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. 

CMU OmniClear Limited (CMU OmniClear) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Exchange Fund.  It carries out the operation and business development activities of the Central Moneymarkets Unit (CMU) on behalf of the HKMA.  As part of the critical financial infrastructure in Hong Kong, CMU is a central securities depository (CSD) for securities.  CMU OmniClear’s vision is to continuously enhance CMU service coverage, expand connectivity with other markets and upgrade the CMU infrastructure to provide market participants with comprehensive and quality services.

Associate Director, Marketing

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote CMU’s services across various markets, enhancing brand visibility and aligning with the corporate’s market positioning
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to engage in third party events, as well as to organise in-house outreach activities, such as webinars, conferences and exhibitions, from planning to execution
  • Work closely with the business teams to plan and execute marketing campaigns, including creating cohesive and visually appealing content across all platforms (website, social media platforms and email marketing), to align marketing efforts with business objectives
  • Develop and distribute various marketing collaterals, such as digital newsletters, brochures, infographics, presentation materials, graphics and videos, via various channels
  • Proactively establish and maintain relationships with industry associations and business counterparts to identify opportunities for collaboration, strengthening the corporate’s industry exposure
  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to promote CMU’s new products and services
  • Provide support in website administration and enhancement to improve user experience and increase website traffic
  • Manage external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality output

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree, preferably in Marketing, Creative Media, Finance or related fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, event management or media-related areas of work, preferably with supervisory experience gained in the financial industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, webinar tools, graphic and video editing; knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro is a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken proficiency in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Hands on experience in vendor management, corporate social media platform management and organising corporate meetings
  • Creative, proactive, well-organised, and detail-oriented, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates with supplementary experience and qualifications will also be considered, even if they do not meet all of the specified requirements above

(Candidates with less experience may be considered for an offer of appointment at Senior Associate level.)
