The Hong Kong Monetary Authority published today (15 August) the credit card lending survey results for the second quarter of 2025.
Total card receivables decreased by 2.5% in the second quarter to HK$149.0 billion at end-June 2025, as compared to a decrease of 5.8% in the previous quarter.
The combined delinquent and rescheduled ratio was 0.45% at end-June 2025, compared with 0.42% at the previous quarter-end. The quarterly charge-off ratio was 0.64%, compared with 0.61% in the previous quarter and remained at a low level.
