Granting of banking licence to China Bohai Bank Co., Ltd.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced today (6 August 2020) that the Monetary Authority has granted a banking licence to China Bohai Bank Co., Ltd. (CBHB) under the Banking Ordinance.  CBHB is incorporated in the People’s Republic of China.  The granting of this banking licence takes effect today (6 August 2020).

After the granting of a banking licence to CBHB, the number of licensed banks in Hong Kong is 164.
