The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Manager (Banking Policy) – Capacity Building

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop policies and proposals relating to capacity-building of Hong Kong's banking industry
  • Prepare professional written materials, such as speeches, feature articles, publication releases and presentation slides
  • Conduct in-depth research on local and international capacity-building requirements and practices to support standard-setting efforts
  • Drive industry discussions on banking-related issues by developing programmes and events, from large-scale conferences to specialised seminars

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree.  Advanced degree or professional qualification an added advantage
  • At least 3 years of solid experience gained in the banking / financial industry, regulatory authorities or professional writing
  • Excellent English and Chinese writing skills to a professional level, with the ability to produce well-structured, articulate and compelling content for various audiences an advantage

 

Conditions of service

 

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
