The Hong Kong Monetary Authority published today (17 August) the credit card lending survey results for the second quarter of 2026.
Total card receivables decreased by 2.1% in the second quarter to HK$154.6 billion at end-June 2026, as compared to a decrease of 3.8% in the previous quarter.
The combined delinquent and rescheduled ratio was 0.42% at end-June 2026, compared with 0.45% at the previous quarter-end. The charge-off ratio for the second quarter of 2026 was 0.61%, compared with 0.56% in the previous quarter.
