Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board Annual Report 2022-2023

The Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board (the Board) today (30 June) published its Annual Report for 2022-2023.  The Report highlights the key achievements of the Board in 2022-2023, which include conducting a regular review of the Deposit Protection Scheme (the Scheme) to ensure that it is in line with international best practice and the latest developments in Hong Kong.  The Report also highlights the Board’s publicity and community outreach efforts during the year to promote public awareness and understanding of the Scheme.  Moreover, the Report outlines the Board’s plan for 2023-2024, which includes launching a public consultation on proposed enhancements to the Scheme based on the results of the review conducted.
