Suspected Fraudulent Website "www.guoco.net.cn"

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) wishes to alert members of the public in Hong Kong to a suspected fraudulent website with the domain name "www.guoco.net.cn". The website looks similar to the official website of Guoco Group Limited and contains a link to Hong Leong Bank Berhad, Hong Kong Branch (Hong Leong Bank), one of its group companies. The Guoco Group has clarified that it has no connection with the suspected fraudulent website.

Guoco Group Limited has reported the case to the Hong Kong Police Force for further investigation. Anyone who has provided his or her personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through the website should contact Hong Leong Bank at 2283 8833 and any local Police Station or the Commercial Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.
