Annual General Meeting of Exchange Fund Investment Limited

Exchange Fund Investment Limited (EFIL) held its Annual General Meeting today (Thursday). The Financial Secretary, Mr Donald Tsang, expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of EFIL, and in particular the successful launch of the Tracker Fund, over the past year.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Chairman Mr Yang Ti-liang and the Directors for their invaluable advice and contribution to the work of EFIL over the past year," said Mr Tsang.

"I also wish to express my gratitude to Mr Michael Thornhill, Mr Eric Li Ka-cheung and Mr Stuart Leckie who have retired from the Board," added Mr Tsang.

Directors of EFIL are appointed on a personal basis by the Financial Secretary as shareholder of EFIL. The current composition of the Board of Directors is enclosed in the Annex.
