Assistant Officer (Private Markets)

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Assistant Officer (Private Markets)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Perform senior secretarial support, and day-to-day administrative duties to the team, including coordination with internal and external parties on arranging meetings, conference calls and duty visits, and filing of documents
  • Assist in handling of fund capital calls, distributions and checking of financial data for the private investment portfolio
  • Draft minutes, review online reports and research reports, and monitoring of news
  • Coordinate with internal departments to perform all tasks according to the prescribed guidelines

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree preferred
  • At least 2 year of work experience gained in the finance industry preferred
  • Experience in carrying out administrative and secretarial duties
  • Attention to details and experience with checking of financial data
  • Well-versed in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A good team player with good communication skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
