The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Manager (Market Outreach)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote Hong Kong as a green and sustainable finance hub
  • Administer capacity building schemes in green and sustainable finance
  • Support HKMA’s co-chairing of the Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Group
  • Engage with public and private sector stakeholders and co-host sustainability-themed events
  • Conduct research and provide support on ad hoc tasks

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree in environment & sustainability, business administration, finance, economics or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong connection with key stakeholders in Hong Kong’s sustainable finance ecosystem a plus
  • Good knowledge in sustainable finance and desktop research skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua

 

Conditions of service

 

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
  • A competitive remuneration package will be offered.  There is flexibility to take account of additional experience and qualifications
