香港金融管理局(金管局)今日(7月30日)发表的统计数字显示,离岸存款被调回香港,有助纾缓98年6月份银行业的流动资金状况。附表1列出6月份的摘要数字和过去数月的比较数字。
存款
98年6月份整体存款上升1.4%,扭转对上两个月的跌势,其中港元存款上升1.0%,而外币存款则上升2.0%。
整体存款增加,主要原因是当局于6月22日宣布豁免对商业机构征收存款利息收入的利得税。
6月份港元存款中,定期存款上升3.7%,往来存款和储蓄存款则分别下跌1.9%和7.1%。鉴于亚洲金融市场再度波动,日圆汇价尤见疲弱,银行于6月中推出较高的定期存款利率,颇受存户欢迎。由于外币存款增长速度比港元存款略高,港元存款占整体存款比重由5月底57.7%微跌至6月底57.5%。
贷款及垫款
6月份贷款和垫款总额减少1.8%,其中海外贷款持续向下,录得3.5%的跌幅。海外贷款减少,部分是受到日圆下挫造成的估值效应影响。此外,6月份本地贷款也略为减少0.7%,其中贸易融资贷款进一步减少0.4%,在香港使用的其他贷款减少0.7%。由于港元贷款和存款之间此消彼长,以致港元贷存比率由5月底的113.2%,跌至6月底的111.5%。
按主要经济行业分类的在港使用贷款季度分析
第二季本地贷款下跌0.2%,较第一季录得的1.2%跌幅为小。随着经济活动放缓,贷款需求普遍减弱,同时银行也继续采取审慎的贷款政策。受到零售市况低沉影响,批发和零售业贷款减少1.5%,持续第一季报跌4.1%的趋势。此外,制造业和贸易融资贷款也见减少,分别报跌1.9%和2.7%。基于股市市况不景,对证券经纪的贷款和财务机构的贷款分别下跌19.6%和5.3%。
但另一方面,占本地贷款约四成的地产有关贷款在第二季录得增长。建造及物业发展与投资的贷款稍告上升0.4%,扭转第一季录得0.4%的跌势。不少属于「居者有其屋计划」和「私人机构参建计划」的单位于6月份落成出售,致使为购置此两计划单位的贷款大幅上升11.8%。其他住宅物业按揭贷款的增幅由第一季的2.2%放缓至第二季的1.7%。另一方面,第二季运输业贷款增加3.7%。
货币供应
6月份货币供应增长持续放缓。港元货币供应M1减少1.7%,港元货币供应M2和M3则同告上升0.8%。在截至6月份的12个月内,港元货币供应M1下跌17.0%,港元货币供应M2和M3则分别上升0.4%和0.3%。
