The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Assistant Officer (External)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide logistics support to the division, including
    • Arrange meeting venue and other facilities, as well as other logistical arrangements for the events
    • Coordinate and prepare meeting materials
    • Coordinate with other parties, including speakers, other divisions, and external vendors on the preparation of the events
  • Provide on-site support during the events and overseeing the logistics works to ensure smooth and efficient execution
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including conference room booking, scheduling, word processing and filing
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc administrative tasks for the division

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and good attention to details
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
