The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Officer (Administration)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Supervise and coordinate operations at reception counters
  • Review venue setting, event logistics and coordinate with internal users on event preparation
  • Coordinate with contractors and building manager on office maintenance, safety, security, cleaning and building services as and when required
  • Manage office inventory, such as equipment and furniture etc.
  • Handle various documentation duties
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisors

 

Requirements

 

  • University degree
  • At least three years of solid working experience in handling administrative duties
  • Mature and responsible
  • Excellent service delivery skills and high level of responsiveness
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Chinese word-processing
  • Willing to travel between different office locations and work on Saturdays and overtime when required

 

Conditions of service

 

  • Appointment will be made on fixed contract terms
  • A competitive remuneration package will be offered.  There is flexibility to take account of additional experience and qualifications
