The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position in the Hong Kong FMI Services Limited (HKFMI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the HKMA:

Systems Analyst – Platform Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
• Assist in the functional, technical and database design of business application systems
• Perform various IT system integration tasks such as hardware and operating system installation, performance testing, security assessment, etc.
• Assist in system monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, performance tuning and capacity planning
• Prepare technical and programming documentation

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in computer science, business information systems, information technology, business administration or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of relevant IT experience
• Solid technical knowledge of and experience in the administration of Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare (e.g. vSphere, vSAN, etc.)
• Experience in scripting and programming (batch, Unix/Linux shell script and VB, etc.)
• Knowledge of IBM AIX, IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, IBM Sterling Connect:Direct an advantage
• Good command of both English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
