This year, I continue my tradition of sending readers my good wishes for the Year of the Rooster through this column. Here is the English translation of the Chinese couplet I have produced for the occasion. I am afraid that it may lose something in translation, but the good wishes remain the same whatever the language. Kung Hey Fat Choi to all of you.
Let prosperity on the Mainland, a thriving SAR, and smooth administration bring harmony and goodwill to society.
May financial stability, a strong economy and limitless business opportunities bring full employment and happiness to the people of Hong Kong.
