The Hong Kong Monetary Authority published today (15 February) the credit card lending survey results for the fourth quarter of 2021.
Total card receivables increased by 8.2% in the fourth quarter to HK$134.6 billion at end-December 2021, mainly driven by festive spending and salaries tax payment.
The combined delinquent and rescheduled ratio edged down to 0.27% at end-December 2021 from 0.29% at the previous quarter-end. The quarterly charge-off ratio decreased to 0.38% from 0.46% in the previous quarter.
