Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of January 2014.  These cases include customer complaints about banking products or services as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In January 2014, 130 cases were received and 109 cases were completed.  As at end January, the handling of 521 cases is in progress.
