Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of May 2013.  These cases include customer complaints about banking products or services as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In May 2013, 95 cases were received and 139 cases were completed.  As at end May, the handling of 1,226 cases was in progress.
