The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of January 2013. These cases include both Lehman-Brothers-related and other non-Lehman-Brothers-related banking complaints as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.
In January 2013, 102 cases were received and 96 cases were completed. As at end January, the handling of 1,319 cases were in progress.
