Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of October 2012.  These cases include both Lehman-Brothers-related and other non-Lehman-Brothers-related banking complaints as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In October 2012, 82 cases were received and 110 cases were completed.  As at end October, the handling of 1,371 cases were in progress.
