The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.  There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Systems Analyst (Information Technology) – Business Analyst

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, translate, and document detailed functional and non-functional technical specifications for the Common Submission Platform
  • Perform gap analysis on current versus future states to drive system modernization and business process optimization
  • Act as an IT Product Owner to onboard new business use case and design new system features that maximize business value
  • Facilitate requirements workshops to build user stories, manage backlogs, and perform system-level configuration with Agile methodology
  • Bridge business users, IT internal teams, and vendors to translate complex problems into clear technical solutions
  • Execute configuration and end-to-end testing, including test plan, test case execution, and stakeholder sign-off

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields
  • At least two years of solid experience in managing technology delivery, business analysis, business operations
  • Strong BA background for projects that involve vendor; experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to understand, visualize, analyse, and resolve difficult issues
  • Familiar with product commercialization to equip business users with the knowledge and skills to adopt the technology product effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills
