The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong.

The HKMA currently embarks on a multi-year IT Transformation Programme for the renewal and upgrade of major technology infrastructure of the HKMA.  It aims to provide the HKMA with a smooth and efficient IT operating environment, and ensure the robustness and safety of the technology solutions in view of the technological development and security risks.

There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position to work under the IT Transformation Programme:

Associate Director (Information Technology) – Business Enablement

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IT business enablement frameworks and processes across key business units
  • Partner with business stakeholders and IT leaders to identify strategic initiatives that enhance digital transformation, operational efficiency, and technology adoption
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to align IT capabilities with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions into business workflows
  • Manage the execution of enterprise-wide enablement programs, including training, change management, and user adoption initiatives
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of enablement activities and report outcomes to senior leadership
  • Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and evaluating their potential to support business growth and operational excellence

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields
  • At least three years of experience within business enablement or transformation management
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale digital transformation and change programs in complex, regulated environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in dynamic environments
