Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of August 2013.  These cases include customer complaints about banking products or services as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In August 2013, 114 cases were received and 204 cases were completed.  As at end August, the handling of 791 cases was in progress.
