Progress of banking complaint cases of the HKMA

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced today the progress of its banking complaint cases at the end of June 2013.  These cases include customer complaints about banking products or services as well as other cases referred by our banking departments and other regulators.

In June 2013, 80 cases were received and 311 cases were completed.  As at end June, the handling of 995 cases was in progress.
