Circular Issued by Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) Regarding Deadlines for Filing Proofs of Claim based on Lehman Programs Securities

I am writing to draw your attention to a circular issued by the SFC on 9 October 2009 ("the SFC Circular"). The SFC Circular reminds licensed corporations which had distributed / sold Lehman Programs Securities to notify their clients about the deadlines for filing proofs of claim against Lehman Brothers Holding Inc.

A copy of the SFC Circular is enclosed at the Annex. Registered institutions should take appropriate action to communicate the information mentioned in the SFC Circular to relevant clients of their institutions if they have not already done so. Such action should include but not limited to requesting the clients to check the information on the relevant websites.
