Advisory Committees

The Banking Advisory Committee and the Deposit-Taking Companies Advisory Committee are established to advise the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on matters relating to the Banking Ordinance, in particular those relating to business activities of banks, restricted licence banks and deposit-taking companies.  Both Committees are chaired by the Financial Secretary, with other members appointed by the Financial Secretary under the delegated authority conferred by the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
