The Deposit-Taking Companies Advisory Committee
The Banking Advisory Committee and the Deposit-Taking Companies Advisory Committee are established for the purpose of advising the Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR on matters relating to the Banking Ordinance, in particular matters relating to business activities of banks, restricted licence banks and deposit-taking companies. Both committees consist of the Financial Secretary, who is the Chairman, the Monetary Authority, and other persons appointed by the Financial Secretary under the delegated authority of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR.
